MISSION of the WEBSITE: Encourage, support and offer helpful information to War Veterans so that they will have the information necessary to seek help. We hope that this website and video will provide you with the tools, courage and strength necessary to get the help you need.
Mission of the VIDEO/DVD: Encourage and support War Veterans to seek help through individual and group counseling.
Our HOPE is that this video/DVD will be shown to new Iraq Veterans, as well as any War Veteran -- to provide them with HOPE – directly from another Veteran. Men and Women who served in the war zones of our world are now able to take the inner journey of exploration to their neglected, walled off, or cut off parts resulting in peace of heart, mind and soul. This video/DVD is the result of the successful treatment from Ms. Harper's first Veterans group. This group of Veterans wanted other Veterans to know that these services were available and to know that the symptoms they were experiencing were common to War Veterans. They wanted to MAKE A DIFFERENCE in other Veteran's lives.
This video/DVD is distributed by Vets Helping Vets, Inc. , who has applied for non-profit status. All Profits go to the VHV, Inc., which will use the resources to pay for costs of creation, production, distribution and marketing of the video/DVD – gross profits will be used to financially assist Veterans who are in need. A volunteer board of War Veterans, whose dream and vision brought this project into existence, will distribute the funds to local Veterans through Veterans Helping Veterans, Inc.
The video will be marketed to County Veteran Service Officers, State Service Officers for Veteran Centers, Veteran Administration and their outpatient mental health contract therapists as well as Vet Center Personnel, trauma therapists that work with Veterans and other Veteran non-profit organizations (i.e. VFW, DAV, American Legion, etc) throughout the country.
We would like to thank the Veterans who participated in this video/DVD. They represent the Korean, Vietnam and Gulf Wars. Without their idea, persistence and willingness, their message would not be heard.
